Heart-Centered Coaching for Sensitive Kids and Teens

Many children and teens today feel deeply, become emotionally overwhelmed easily, struggle with confidence, overthink social situations, or have difficulty regulating emotions in a fast-paced world.

I offer heart-centered coaching for sensitive, introverted, creative, and neurodivergent children and teens who need emotional support, confidence-building tools, and guidance reconnecting with their authentic selves.

Through a blend of emotional intelligence tools, HeartMath®, mindfulness, Taoist-inspired practices, nervous system support, and intuitive guidance, I help young people build self-trust, emotional balance, healthy confidence, communication skills, and inner resilience.

My Approach

My coaching approach blends emotional intelligence, HeartMath® techniques, mindfulness, Taoist-inspired practices, intuitive guidance, nervous system support, and years of experience working with children and teens.

As a former middle school science teacher with a background in psychology and education, I combine practical emotional support tools with heart-centered guidance that helps young people feel safe, seen, empowered, and connected to themselves.

I teach skills to help kids build confidence and emotional resiliency such as meditation, HeartMath techniques, mental rehearsal, self-talk transformation, positive affirmations, journaling, qigong, and art therapy. In my teachings, I speak a lot about scientific research, but I also include the importance of feeling a spiritual/energetic connection. From my experiences, I have come to believe that much of emotional instability, absence of self-love, and suicidal thoughts stem from a lack of connection to the wisdom of the heart, and to the creator of all things. You can choose to call this source by many names (the higher self, Universe, Divine, God, etc.) I believe we are each unique expressions of this divine energy. Most of the energetic portions of my lessons involve connecting to intuition (which is important for self-love and trust), and qigong/moving meditation techniques to help the sensitive children anchor into their bodies and feel ground here on earth.

My teachings are a blend of spiritual and scientific lessons. Each session is tailored to the individual student’s needs and is created to inspire each person to live a life of heart connection and high vibration.

If your child seems extra sensitive, feels different from most kids, or struggles to feel at home in typical social settings, they may resonate with what some people refer to as a Starseed or Diamond Child.

This is a spiritual perspective that many families are beginning to explore as they seek to better understand their child’s unique emotional sensitivity, intuition, and inner experience.

“He’s taking more of an initiative to be helpful, he’s been listening better, and speaking up for himself in very respectful yet assertive ways. We’ve been very pleased and proud of him and know that your sessions thus far have a large part in that. So THANK YOU!!!”

Ms. Hudson’s guidance and support over the summer truly made a difference—she helped my daughter build confidence, develop social skills, and enter high school feeling prepared and hopeful. Because of her compassionate coaching, my daughter has opened up in ways I never expected and has already made five new friends in her first year of high school. I am deeply grateful for the positive impact Ms. Hudson has had on her life.

I want to thank Ms. Hudson for helping me so much this year. I used to be really shy and had a hard time making friends but she helped me feel more confident. She was always so easy to talk to, and I really felt like she understood me. I’m really going to miss talking to her and I’m grateful for everything she did for me.
